Max'ims Art *Design & Boutique Max'ims of Greeley has found its new home in Greeley! Beginning in March, Max'ims will once again be open for business in a quaint new location in Westlake Village Shopping Center at the corner of 35th avenue and 20th street. The store is just east of Starbucks and next to Hearne's. We are very excited by our new prospects in this more manageable venue for the years ahead in Greeley and Northern Colorado's growing community. It is still Max'ims of Greeley, but the new store front name will be Max'ims Art *Design & Boutique changing a bit of the emphasis and concept of the past. The space is smaller but, owner Scott Lorenz is still highlighting the sale of original art by most of the same artist it has represented for decades. Also, Scott will continue to bring his unique concepts of interior design with the continued stock of Great Lamps, Accent Furniture, Handmade Rugs and Home Accessories. The Boutique direction will carry on the best quality jewelry in Greeley and also open opportunities for unique lines of clothing, ladies accessories and gift products. It has been Scott's underlying desire to own and operate a ladies apparel store and here, with the influence of his wife Sally, Max'ims will be exploring those directions in its future at the new location. Doug's Hang Up As for picture framing.... Max'ims was in the framing business for over forty years in Greeley. Although the new store won't be housing a frame shop, Scott will still be available as always for helping the many long time customers in their framing projects. It has been noted for years the things people like the most about Max'ims is not only the great artwork but also the great framing designs around the artwork. By Scott's design he can still provide customer service in frame design and selection. Scott will be utilizing the service of long time Max'ims employee and framer Mark Hunter. Along with long time framer Doug Suggs, Mark and Doug are re-opening another staple in Greeley's community in Doug's Hang Up. We are opening February 7th in the former Max'ims location at 818 ninth Street in Historic Downtown Greeley. You can bring your framing projects to Scott at his new location or drop it by Doug's Hang Up and set up an appointment to meet with him. You can be assured the very best quality and service Colorado has to offer with the co-op efforts of Max'ims of Greeley and Doug's Hang Up. We will contiue to partner in our efforts to provide this wonderful community with two new shops but the same goals of continuing our love for Greeley and the Arts. Thank you all for all your support in this emotional change. We both look forward to seeing all your smiling faces soon!!! -Mark Hunter/Scott Lorenz mark@dougshangup.com or (970) 475-1931 and maximsofgreeley@hotmail.com (970) 352-9341
